Has anyone weighed their evasion frame before building it out? If not, does anyone have a weight post build-out? I am curious since i cant physically go check one out in real life and would love to buy one but want to do long rides without feeling held back like I do on my current ’83 650b converted Trek 420.

I haven’t weighed my medium frame, and I don’t plan to. But it doesn’t feel any heavier or lighter than a modern steel mountain bike frame. My guess is if you feel you may be held back by frame weight, you should probably look elsewhere. Or…buy the frame, don’t ever weigh it, and enjoy the ride!

XL, 27.5×2 (with tubes), Sram eagle bits 27lbs on the dot.

Feels way zippier than a 30lb bike. Cannot recommend this bike enough.
