The fork off of our Disc Romanceur is available on its own yet again. A fitting replacement fork for that old 1" head tube frame you've got laying around with no fork. This could also be a great option if you've got an older mountain bike or something that you'd just like to update the fork and have a disc tab, dynamo routing, and fork mounts for a front rack or bag support.
Build Notes:
This fork will work with your bike as long as it has a 1" headtube. It doesn't matter if the current headset in it is threaded or not, but you will have to use a threaded one with this fork.
This fork comes in 5 different Steerer Tube Lengths. You will have to measure, crunch a number or two, and order accordingly.
Ideally you want your steerer to be long enough to be able to get the top lock nut from your headset threaded most of the way onto the top of the fork and have the bottom lock nut snug up the headset and not run out of threads before doing so.
Each fork has about 55-60mm of threads at the top of the steerer tube.
