King Cage’s Lowering cage is the same great construction and look of their regular stainless cage but the mounting points are attached a bit higher on the cage which in turn lowers your bottle’s position on your bike by 1.1″. These could be useful for a bike with a small triangle to help make it easier get your bottle in and out or maybe for trying to back your bottle away from your front tire when it’s mounted under the downtube. I like running these even on a bigger frame (58-60cm) just to get my bottles down low. I'm not sure if its in my head or not, but shifting the weight of two big full water bottles down a little lower seems to affect the ride feel a bit. If nothing else I like the aesthetic.
