The MCR22 is a close relative of the NITTO UI-12. In-fact, they're pretty much the same stem, minus the orientation of the steerer clamp bolts. I believe this is meant to be more of the "mountain bike" version of the stem, but I can't tell for sure. The way it is stamped, it looks as though it's meant to be ran so it's a riser stem, but you could run it either direction. What I do know, is the UI-12 is a damn good stem which means the MCR22 is as well.
It's made by Nitto and has the high quality finish to show for it.
